Established in 1899, the Middlesex County Bar Association (MCBA) is one of the oldest, continuously operating county bar associations in the country. The MCBA is a voluntary membership association open to all attorneys who live or practice in Middlesex County.

The MCBA is governed by its Executive Officers and Council, all of whom are elected by the general membership. The association’s day-to-day operations, Events, Grants, and Conciliation Program are run by its Executive Director, Pamela Davis Surette.

Our Mission is:

· To promote honor, dignity, truth, and professionalism within the legal community

· To promote social interaction and good-fellowship among the members of the Bar

· To encourage a more profound study of the law

· To secure wise, and prevent unwise, legislation

· To provide for a diverse and inclusive bar

· To further the administration of justice by assisting individuals in obtaining access to the judicial system

· To promote community public service among the legal community
